Ipad apps hang when updating
Many of these apps save to the cloud, which means it is safe to delete, but if you have any doubts, you should skip this step.
If nothing else has worked but you are worried about the documents you've created in the app, you can connect your i Pad to your PC and check i Tunes on your PC to see if the documents are available for copying to your home computer.
When the screen has gone dark for several seconds, power it back up by holding down the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds. This will cause the i Pad to completely flush all available memory and storage and start fresh.
You can restore to Factory Default by going into i Tunes, choosing your i Pad from the devices list and clicking the Restore button. Follow these instructions for restoring to the Factory Default setting.
Remember, it is not enough to simply suspend the device and wake it up again.
In order to give the i Pad a full refresh, you will need to power off the device by holding down the sleep/wake button for several seconds and following the instructions on the screen.
But don't worry, if you do have this problem, these steps should fix it.
One of the most frustrating i Pad problems is freezing, especially it happens on a regular basis.
When an i Pad becomes stuck or frozen, it tends to result from apps that conflict with each other or an app that leaves behind a bit of corrupted memory.
The easiest way to solve this issue is to download a new app, which will force the i Pad to authenticate again.
Try picking out a free app and installing it on the i Pad.
